YOU Are Invited to the Party! Celebrate the 95th Anniversary of Strand Center for the Arts

The 95th anniversary celebration of the Strand Center for the Arts begins at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail party in the Strand gallery hosted by Lakewood Mayor Ray Coles on April 26, 2017.  Lori Davis and Sheri Gilmore will entertain guests with Karaoke, along with guest appearances by Tony and Heidi DeFabritus, Arlan Feiles, Chris Rockwell, Richie (Elvis) Santa, Robert Santa, and many others.

Tickets cost $50.00 each and include light fare, spirits, gourmet coffee, and birthday cake. Mail checks made out to Strand Center for the Arts to, The Strand, 400 Clifton Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701 Attn: Fran Whitney. Tickets can be purchased online at strand.org, but a $6.00 service fee will be added.

Designed by world-renowned theater architect Thomas Lamb, the Strand Center for the Arts, 400 Clifton Avenue, Lakewood, N.J., opened in 1922. Pearl Bailey, Dionne Warwick, Milton Berle, Ronnie Spector, Taylor Swift, George Carlin, and many, many more have entertained the public on its stage since its grand opening.

The Strand, home to such organizations as the Atlantic City Ballet, Exit 82 Theater, Brick Children’s Community Theater Company, among others, is the hot spot for James D’Amico Productions & Tommy’s House’s tribute bands concerts.

About the Strand Theater The historic Strand Theater, 400 Clifton Ave., Lakewood, was designed by world-renowned theater architect Thomas Lamb in 1922 and is listed on the N.J. and National Register of Historic Places.
