Public Invited to Opening of School-based Health Center in Lakewood’s Clifton Ave. Grade School
OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives), a federally qualified health care center (FQHC) and members of the Lakewood School Board are inviting the public to celebrate the grand opening of OHI’s new school-based health center in the Clifton Avenue Grade School, 625 Clifton Avenue, Lakewood, on November 15 at 10:00 a.m.
Dr. Theresa Berger, CEO of OHI, said, “Health care drives education. The key is to keep the children healthy so they do not miss school. The less sick days children take, the more time they will be in the classroom. This translates into a better education, which sets the groundwork for a better future for our children.”
In 2014, OHI will expand its services to include health care services for the entire family. For more information, contact Kim Tozzi, executive assistant to Dr. Berger, at 732-719-9015 or email ktozzi@ohinj.org
