Planning Your Workforce – April JSAHR Meeting
What exactly is workforce planning? Who does it? Learn the basics of workforce planning as a tool for strategic business development on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the monthly meeting of JSAHR (The Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources), from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., Jumping Brook Country Club, 210 Jumping Brook Road, Neptune, N.J.
The goal of this session will be to explain workforce planning as a tool for strategic business development for all levels of HR professionals. John Baldino, a human resources industry veteran of 23 years will explain the drivers behind securing talent both internally and externally. He will discuss the issues of retirement, promotion, attrition and market growth as influencers; and explain the marriage of talent management and workforce planning. A case study will help to anchor these concepts and provide concrete assimilation.
The registration fee, including a full buffet breakfast, is $30.00 for JSAHR members; $40.00 for nonmembers; $25.00 for those in-transition, and $10.00 for full-time students. This program is pending recertification credits PHR/SPHR through HRCI and PDCs for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. JSAHR is a Gold Excel award winner of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
