OHI to Host Event in Recognition of National Men’s Health
OHI, (Ocean Health Initiatives), a federally qualified health center, is promoting National Men’s Health Week, at its Lakewood site, 101 Second Street, Thursday, June 25, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with free HIV testing, blood pressure screenings, glucose testing, a men’s health-themed gym bag door prize, and informational flyers. Horizon NJ will provide skin-screening testing.
Men are encouraged to visit OHI’s tent and its MMU (Mobile Medical Unit) for these free screenings to heighten awareness about preventable health problems, and to encourage the early detection and treatment of diseases among men and boys through medical screenings.
