OHI to Host a Blood Drive February 17 in Manchester and Toms River
OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives), a federally qualified health center, is hosting a Blood Drive to benefit the Central Jersey Blood Center, Friday, February 17, 2017, in its Manchester and Toms River health centers.
Make appointments in advance to give blood from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at OHI’s Manchester Health Center, Lakehurst Circle Center II, 686 Route 70 Lakehurst; or from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at OHI’s Toms River Health Center, 301 Lakehurst Road.
Donors must be healthy, at least 17 years old or be 16 with parental consent, weigh at least 120 pounds, and present a signature ID. Remember to eat and drink plenty of fluids before donating blood. Those with controlled high blood pressure, heart conditions, and diabetes can donate blood.
