NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine Opens New Facility

Dr. Lambros Lambrou, president of NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine, announced that NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine has opened its 11th facility in Marlboro, N.J., at 184 Route 9 North. NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine, first opened in 2001, is a New Jersey multi-specialty medical group whose goal is to allieviate pain. All facilities specialize in orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, physical and occupational therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic.

Dr. Lambrou, a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School, and his twin brother Dr. Dimitrios Lambrou founded NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine more than 20 years ago. Other locations include Aberdeen, Barnegat, Freehold, Jackson, Lincroft, Point Pleasant, Rahway, Tinton Falls, Toms River, and Wall Township, serving Ocean, Monmouth, Middlesex, Union, Hudson, and Essex counties.

About Dr. Lambrou: Dr. Lambrou, a member of Phi Chi Omega Honor Society, was graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2000. He continued his post-graduate education in Neuronal Conduction Studies, Manipulation under Anesthesia, Diagnostic MSK ultrasonography, Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP), and scoliosis rehabilitation.

Dr. Lambrou was awarded the Legion of Honor Humanitarian Award from the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter and The Chapel of the Four Chaplains. He is an honorary member of the International Society of Police Physician and Surgeons, the Jackson Township P.B.A. Local 168, and the State of NJ Police Department’s Honor Legion.

In 2020 Dr. Lambrou was named regional Top Doctor, and in 2021 Governor Phil Murphy appointed him to serve on the NJ State Board of Chiropractic Examiners for which he is now vice president. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Hackensack Meridian Ocean University Medical Center Foundation.
