Lakewood Summer Athletic Programs Begin July 5
Lakewood Township Recreation Department programs from soccer to wrestling, T-ball, volleyball and track, are beginning July 5 for children up to grade 12.
Co-Ed Soccer: Learn to play soccer. Instruction and games. Mondays and Wednesdays, John Patrick Sports Complex for Lakewood children ages 4 to 12 years old, from 6:00 –to 7:00 p.m.; ages 7 to 9 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.; ages 10-12 years from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.; and Middle and High School children, from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. Fee: $10 registration fee, first child, $5.00 each additional child
Wrestling: Learn the skills and techniques of wrestling for grades 1-12., Tuesdays, 6:00 to 8 p.m., Lakewood High School Wrestling Room. $10 fee for first child $5; each additional child.
Free T-Baseball: Learn the skills of the game for Baseball. Ages 3 to 5, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., John Patrick Baseball Sports Complex. Please bring your own baseball glove.
Free Co-Ed Volleyball: Learn volleyball skills, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Lakewood High School Gym, Grades 1 to 5, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.; Grades 6 to 12 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Free Track Program: Like to run and jump? Join the Lakewood Recreation Track Program, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Lakewood High School outdoor track, Grades 1 to 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
