Florida Company Acquires New Jersey Simonik Moving & Storage
First Class Moving Systems, Inc., Tampa, Florida, announced it has acquired the assets of Simonik Moving & Storage, Inc., an agent of Allied Van Lines, Bound Brook, N.J. The newly formed company will be known as World Class Moving Systems. For nearly 50 years, Simonik Moving & Storage has served consumer, corporate, government, and commercial moving customers in New York and New Jersey with moving, storage, and logistics.
World Class Moving Systems, 5 Easy Street, Bound Brook, N.J., has also entered into an agreement with Allied Van Lines, a subsidiary of SIRVA Worldwide. The company will service local, national, and global NY/NJ metro area customers needing warehousing, commercial moving, final mile, white glove, distribution, office furniture, hospitality, retail and medical furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) installation as well as heavy machinery moving and rigging services.
Chris Hunt, co-owner of World Class, said, “Our offerings will be expanded. The Simonik team will stay intact with all employees accepting offers to stay. World Class has ambitious plans to make a big splash into the Allied Van Lines system. This is a very important market to several of our customers which drove the pursuit of expanding the First Class footprint into the Northeast.”
