Biannual JSAHR Legal Seminar Via ZOOM April 8

The Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR) is hosting a half-day legal interactive ZOOM seminar sponsored and presented by the employment law firm of Jackson Lewis that will cover COVID-19 related business issues that impact businesses, organizations, and human resource professionals.

The seminar led by attorneys Luke Breslin, Richard Cino, Noorin Hamid, and Amanda Miller is Thursday, April 8, 2021 8:45 a.m. to Noon. The presentation will include such topics as an update on COVID-19 related litigation in New Jersey; important provisions in the American Rescue Plan impacting employers; issues pertaining to COVID-19 vaccinations, including establishing Point-of-Dispensing (POD), mandating vs. recommending vaccines, etc., employee leaves, and employee discipline; the EEOC’s Revised Enforcement Guidance on Religious Discrimination; discussion regarding proposed amendments to the N.J. Law Against Discrimination; and obligations for federal contractors, including discussion regarding Affirmative Action Plans. A question and answer session is included.

The registration fee of $20 for JSAHR members; $30 for non-members; and free for students and those in-transition must be paid before April 7. About the Jackson Lewis Speakers: Luke P. Breslin is an Associate in the Monmouth County offices.
