Vets Can Get a Job at Hire a Veteran Job Fair
Veterans seeking employment will find more than 33 companies with job openings at the Hire a Veteran Job Fair, Wednesday, November 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Merri-Makers at the PNC Reception Center, Exit 116 of the Garden State Parkway, Holmdel. The workshop Lessons in Landing the Job That You Want, sponsored by Bob Deissig from Tip of the Arrow Foundation, a nonprofit troop support organization that helps military veterans and their spouses find jobs (gigofund.org), will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Toms River dentist Dr. Ron Rotem and Greater Media radio are presenting this job fair and several workshops, sponsored in part by All American Ford and Carrier Clinic, to help veterans returning from duty overseas and who are faced with a poor job market. Among those military resources that will be available at the Hire a Veteran Job Fair are ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve), a Department of Defense organization; Tip Of The Arrow
Foundation; the Department of Labor; the National Guard State Family Readiness Council of New Jersey.
