Greater Toms River Chamber to Honor Debra Morgan as Its First Woman of Distinction
The Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce will honor Debra Morgan as its first Woman of Distinction. The luncheon in her honor is Friday, March 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., B2 Bistro, 1250 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, N.J. 08753.
Morgan, who is the senior vice president regional administrator of Lakeland Bank for the coastal region, has more than 30 years of banking experience in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is known for meeting the financial needs of customers. Morgan, who grew up in a farming community in Ohio, attended Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.
The Women of Distinction Awards are presented to women who exhibit leadership skills in their field of expertise; are a role model and/or mentor to other women and girls; are members Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce; advocate for positive social change that helps close the leadership gap and creates a more equitable society; exhibit qualities of teamwork, integrity, and dedication; and who give back to the community through their time, talent, and resources
Morgan said, “I strongly believes that a life of purpose happens when you can change the lives of others.”
Her passion is to rescue dogs. She currently has a household with four fur babies. Morgan is also an avid golfer and golfs anytime the temperature is above 45 degrees. She proudly supports the GTRCC Annual Golf Tournament!
