Dec. 9 Online or In-person HR Meeting

Posted on December 2, 2021 By

What are the traits of agile organizations and how can leaders cultivate a culture to survive and thrive in a dynamically changing world? As businesses prepare to exit the pandemic and meet the challenges of attracting and retaining a labor force for the coming year, organizations will need to become more adaptive to change and uncertainty.

Attend either the in-person meeting of Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR), at Jumping Brook Country Club, 210 Jumping Brook Road, Neptune, N.J., open to the public, or a virtual meeting on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. to explore how can leaders support a new mindset of innovation and make it safe for workers to thrive through change.

Richard D. (“Rick”) Maher, a recognized leader in the fields of managing organizational change and strategic management, will present the Organizational Change Model that includes the traits and skills organizations need for a winning culture at work. He will present the factors that shape worker resistance to change and stifle innovation; help attendees develop skills to lead themselves and others through changing environments; and explain ways to privately assess one’s own individual strengths and identify opportunities for personal professional development, among other timely information.

Register at htpp://jsahr.shrm.org/events or admin@jsahr.org. Log in details will be sent to registrants. The virtual fees are $10.00 for members; $20.00 for non-members; and free for students and those In-Transition. Send fees prior to meeting to JSAHR, P.O. Box 987, Brick, NJ 08723.
