Assemblyman Edward (Ned) Thomson to Speak at September 15 ELC Meeting
Meet the newest Assemblyman Edward (Ned) Thomson, District 30, the featured speaker at Ocean County ELC (Employer Legislative Committee) meeting and breakfast on Friday, September 15, 2017, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, 815 Route 37 West, Toms River, N.J.
Assemblyman Thomson will be speaking about business issues in New Jersey. ELC meetings, open to the public, are designed to inform the business community about important legislation, provide face-to-face opportunities with key government officials, and encourage dialogue between business and government.

About Edward H. (Ned) Thomson III: Edward H. (Ned) Thomson III, an Enrolled Actuary, has served as a Trustee of the New Jersey Public Employees Retirement System for the past 20 years appointment by N.J. Governors (1995-Present). He was twice elected Mayor of Wall Township (2002, 2005). He has served as a Wall Township Committeeman for a decade (1998-2008), was a member of the Wall Planning Board for 10 years (1997-2007) and the Board of Adjustment for seven years (1990-1997). Recently he was reappointed to the Wall Twp. Planning Board.
Ned Thomson has been self-employed since 1978 as the owner of E.H. Thomson & Company, Inc. Consulting Actuaries, Sea Girt, NJ. He administers more than 500 pension plans advising on eligibility, distribution of benefits, investments, and current legislation.
